Timothy found something new in his room the other day.  I was helping with the cleaning and left the vacuum in Timothy’s room for just a minute and when I returned I saw this.

Look what I found!Timothy says “Hey guys, look at what I found!”

Squatting looking up“This requires further study…”

Squatting down for a closer look“It has wheels like a truck, but it has a funny looking cord.  Interesting…”

Walking away with the cord“Let’s see what I can plug it in to.”  (I know, I know, he ended a sentence with a preposition – we’ve been working on his grammar with him, but he’s not even two yet)

Standing in Hall“Hmmm, this cord is short.”

Plugging into Gate“Let’s try the gate.”

Trying the doorknob“No.  Maybe the doorknob…”

Trying the chest“No, that wasn’t it either.  My chest, perhaps?”

Sitting and examining“Of course not.  The chest – what was I thinking?!?  Now, let’s examine this plug a little closer…”

Plugging into foot“Eureka!  The foot!”

Calling for Help“Oh, I give up.  Mama!  Help me!!!”

Where do I plug it in?“I plug it in where?!?  The wall?  Now I’ve heard everything…”

  1. Cute!

Timothy is growing up – his face is more lean than I remember it. What a handsome, clever little guy!

  2. What a cute story! You guys are so creative! Timothy IS growing up and looking more and more like a little boy, instead of a baby. It appears that you have removed the futon from his room…
